Recently, MDR3 program students, accompanied by Program Director Kuo-Hsin Yang and Professor Chi-Wen Chen, visited the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR). During the visit, Dr. Wei-Sen Li, the Secretary General, provided a detailed explanation of the government’s emergency response measures and actions during large-scale disasters. To further strengthen future collaboration, our program has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NCDR. The students actively participated in the discussions, posing insightful questions, which deepened their understanding of disaster risk reduction and resilience. This visit offered them a valuable learning experience and a broader perspective on disaster management.
